Mrs. Klein has a MBA from Rockhurst University in Entrepreneurship, a Bachelor from Missouri State in Computer and Information Systems and Teaching Certificate from Northwest Missouri State. She has worked in industry as a Systems Engineer and Information Technology Auditor. In industry, she worked for Cerner Corporation, DST Systems, Kansas City Southern and Kansas City Power and Light. After leaving industry, Mrs. Klein was an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Park University and William Jewell College. Her experience in technology has led her to teaching technology here at Liberty. She teaches Computer Programming, AP Computer Science, Web Programming and Computer Architecture. Mrs. Klein also enjoys teaching Entrepreneurship where she uses her entrepreneurial experience from running her own web based business to excite students in becoming future entrepreneurial leaders.
Why I am Passionate about Computer Science
When I started studying programming, I didn't notice I was the only girl in the room. I just liked it. I have been blessed with many different experiences in my career and they are all because of technology. There is so many different and exciting opportunities today then when I started. There will be more that we just have dreamed of. Young women and minorities have the greatest opportunity in this field.
